Calamities may knock us down
Bruise our heart with the loss of lives
Tears may fall and grief may be hard to endure
Including the hunger pangs that make each tummy growl.
Material things were all gone
Devoured by the earth as it shake without warn
Blown by the winds brought about by the super typhoon
Everyone is struggling to survive in the said situation.
The spirit of unity
Did thrive in an instant
People around the world
Extend their help to heal our broken land.
My fellowmen, grasp the ray of hope inside our hearts
Nothing is impossible if we focus onto the bright side of life
Faith in God will be our guiding light
To live a life free of strife.
